< In the second paragraph, you should go through the topics/papers what links you and your intended professor>

After going through your research interests and works, I feel that your group is a good fit for me as I am interested _____________. <Here, according to your interest, go through some of his papers and mention 1-2 papers that relates to your interest, and try to show that you at least have some ideas on the research works that have been done> I also plan to work with <related topic of professors that you have not done>, and incorporate them in future works.  I am extremely interested in working with you as I think I can greatly enhance my potential and talent under your guidance. I hope to contribute to your group if I am given an opportunity. I hope my skills will be quite helpful in doing research in your group.
